Welcome! I’m Omar Blanco - I balance life as a dad, husband, and friend while building a career in marketing and live music production—helping turn ordinary days into extraordinary memories!
Originally from Iowa, my wife Jenna and I made Minnesota our home in 2021. In 2022, we adopted Penny, a pitbull mix, and in 2024, we welcomed our daughter, Olive!
I started DJing at age 13 as DJ Thriller-Musical Genius (now DJ Blanco) and began mixing sounds for local bands. In 2018, I became an audio and lighting tech with M&D Sound and later worked with Premier Global Productions, a live events company.
Today, I produce experiences like Summerfoam Live (the Nation’s Hottest Foam Party) and Musical Genius Productions (Minnesota’s Premier Wedding DJ), delivering stunning entertainment across Minnesota.

Since 2009, I’ve had the privilege of providing wedding entertainment for hundreds of couples—seeing guests dance all night and helping celebrate life’s biggest moments. From weddings to proms, homecoming, and quinceañeras, I love crafting memories that last a lifetime. There’s nothing better than hearing guests say how much fun they had!
I take pride in perfecting every detail of my DJ setup, from clean sound to stunning lighting and a polished booth. As an experienced public speaker, I love hyping the crowd and keeping the energy high all night!
